Oliver Papke and Colin Powell have never met in person but collaborate over the internet. We first became aware of each other as part of projects involving ourselves and other people but after a while we realised that we work very well together as a duo.

We originally published several of the tracks from this album on Soundcloud and some also have accompanying videos on Youtube (compiled by Oliver's wife, Eva). Because of the wonderful comments from listeners and radio presenters, we decided to make this album, which contains remixed versions of older tracks and several previously un-released tracks.

New tunes usually begin with Oliver sending Colin a piano composition, often with and orchestral accompaniment, to which Colin adds his guitars (lead, rhythm and bass guitar) and sometimes other instrumental sounds, including cello, harp, drums and percussion. Oliver and Eva give their feedback to Colin and then Colin arranges, mixes and masters the tracks on his iPad.

Our music is very suitable for Background Music, Healing, Chillout, Relaxation, Documentary or Film Scores and more.

Oliver Papke and Colin Powell Salford, UK

Oliver lives in Bremen, Germany . He has always had a great interest in music, although he was never taught to play an instrument. However, thanks to his musical ear, he was able to teach himself to play the piano.

Colin is a composer and musician from Salford in the UK.
Like Oliver, he is self-taught. His main instrument is guitar but he plays also keyboards to produce many different sounds. ... more
